Having lived on three continents, "Ava" Yuan Melvin (薛源) brings a wealth of cultural understanding and adaptability to her real estate career. As a good communicator driven by her passion for helping people, Ava listens to her clients and guides them gently with knowledge and insights. 

Before entering into real estate, Ava was a bioinformatician with a MSc in nutrition, an amateur pianist and a half-marathoner, with home in the heart of all her pursuits. As a mother to twin girls and a boy, Ava understands the importance of creating spaces that support family needs, growth, and togetherness. The homeschooling journey with her husband offers her a unique perspective on the value of home environments tailored to learning and development.

Gregory Melvin was born and raised in Muskogee, Oklahoma, where family and community shaped his values from an early age. For the past 14 years, he's been deeply immersed in education, working as a Special Education Teacher and later as a School Administrator. His career took place in some of the most remote areas of bush Alaska, including the Bering Strait School District, and later in the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District. 

Today, Gregory Melvin is proud to focus on real estate while continuing to embrace family-centered living. He's happily married to his wife, "Ava" Yuan Melvin, whom they met while she lived in Israel. They will be homeschooling both their twin daughters and baby boy very soon, as such provides a unique perspective on nurturing education while also building close-knit family bonds.
